Roster
Read the whole gym in 90 seconds.
Adherence, last session, PRs, voice memos sent. One screen. The coach moves first; the platform doesn't bury the signal in tabs.
Coaching · Davao · 2026
Every other app puts AI at the center and ships you a smarter notification. Kaya puts a real coach in your athlete's pocket — and gives them the tools to actually coach instead of admin.

The wedge
What everyone else built
An AI that writes the workout. A dashboard with twelve charts. Push notifications when you skip a day. The athlete keeps using it for three weeks. Then the silence.
What we built instead
A coach with their actual name in your athlete's pocket. A roster the coach reads in 90 seconds. A voice memo that lands at 6 a.m. before the lift. The plan compounds because the relationship does.
Vs. the AI-first platforms
Not a feature checklist. A direction. Every cell below is a decision we made on purpose, and a decision they made on purpose. Pick the side you actually want to coach from.
| AI-first platforms | Kaya | |
|---|---|---|
| Primary surface | AI-built workout & 12-chart dashboard | Roster of athletes the coach actually talks to |
| Adherence loop | Push notification when athlete skips | Coach voice memo on the morning of the lift |
| Planning horizon | Macrocycle builder · 52-week templates | Prescribe the next session based on the last one |
| Pricing model | Per-coach SaaS · seat + add-ons + processing fees | Per-athlete-on-roster · matches how coaches actually charge |
| Athlete cost | Athlete pays platform a subscription | Athletes are always free · coaches pay for capacity |
| First setup | Invite chain · Stripe onboarding · template library | Generate a code · text it to the athlete · done |
| Country fit | USD pricing · US-centric coach personas | PH-first · pesos · Filipino coach voice from day one |
For coaches
Most platforms ship you fifteen surfaces and call it "robust." Coaches use four. We built those four very, very well.
Roster
Adherence, last session, PRs, voice memos sent. One screen. The coach moves first; the platform doesn't bury the signal in tabs.
Memos
Tap, talk, send. Your athlete hears the coach who knows them, not a robot reminder. The memo lands on the home screen the morning of the session.
Prescribe
Coaches don't build 52-week macrocycles in v1 — they program the next session based on what just happened. Kaya is the only platform that makes that the default.
Earn
Publish a workout, set a price, athletes discover it in the in-app library. Stripe Connect ships in Phase 1.x · earnings are honestly labeled as Potential until they settle.
How it works
One tap in Studio · a single-use code like K-A8X9D2. Text it to your athlete on whatever they already use — WhatsApp, iMessage, Viber.
Athlete enters the code during onboarding. The roster lights up with their first session whenever they log it. No invitation chain. No dropped handoff.
Tap their roster row. Read what they actually did. Drop a 30-second voice memo. Prescribe the next session. Close the loop.
The math
Everfit-style per-seat SaaS scales with the platform's appetite. Kaya scales with your roster — and the rate is small enough that the third athlete already covers your subscription many times over.
₱2,000/mo is a real Davao rate — coaches at top gyms charge ₱2,500–₱4,000. Numbers will be much higher than the table.
Pricing
PH-first pricing in pesos. Pay only when your roster grows past the point where coaching it free still made sense.
1 athlete
Coach your first athlete without paying for the privilege.
5 athletes
When word of mouth turns into a real side practice.
15 athletes
Full-time online coach. The Davao pilot sweet spot.
Unlimited
Studios, federations, gyms. No cap on the people you reach.
Athletes are always free. Coaches pay for capacity, never for chat.
FAQ
Because launching a multiplatform v1 means launching a worse v1 of both. Android is on the roadmap right after Davao; the iOS app gets the editorial polish and voice-memo loop that defines Kaya, and we'd rather ship one app correctly than two apps half-correctly.
Those tools put the AI-generated workout and the dashboard at the center. The coach is the one who tabs through their software at the end of the day. Kaya inverts that. The first surface a coach sees is their roster of real people, and the highest-leverage thing they do is leave a voice memo. AI sits underneath both sides as the floor — never the ceiling.
Because that's already how coaches charge. Flat SaaS hides the real economics from the coach: are they making money this month? Per-athlete tiers map 1:1 to revenue. The third athlete already covers your Starter subscription many times over.
No. Athletes never pay Kaya — only their coach (and only what they already agreed to with that coach). The platform charges the coach for capacity. The athlete sees zero billing surface inside the app.
We have AI — Ask Kaya generates per-day plans, the exercise library is canonical-linked, automatic PR detection runs on saved sessions. AI is the floor. The coach is the ceiling. That's the order.
Yes. Unlimited roster, founding-coach support line, and we'll bias toward your feedback in Phase 1.x. Email hello@trainwithkaya.com with your context and we'll set up the org-side conversation.
